The school

The school is wherever I am. I enjoy visiting, learning and teaching in different environments. They all present their own unique set of challenges and bring their own lessons. As far as the philosophy of what I teach, the main thing to take away is that it is a journey of rediscovery of nature and human nature. Some of the ancestral teachings that were part of everyday life of our forebearers may be considered controversial in our days, such as hunting or fighting. Nonetheless, we are apex predators, descendants of countless generations of hunter-gatherers and warriors, and ignoring this or attaching a false sense of guilt to these facts is a sure way to deprive ourselves of the ability to connect with our true selves.

The main characteristic of nature is balance, and balance creates lasting sustainability. The balance found in nature is 50% life and 50% death. This perpetuates the cycles that make nature as a perfect sustainable system exist. Those who would relearn the ways of nature must have a willingness to accept death as well as life.
