We use three timelines that take you from the 21st century through the middle age to the stone age, to reconnect with the hunting, gathering, fighting, and living skills of our ancestors.
Timelines
Bushcraft
Rooted in the Scandinavian woods lore tradition, this is a good starting point. Here we can use modern technological advancements such as Gore-Tex, ferrocerium rods, ultra light silnylon tarps and modern firearms to expand our survival, preparedness, hunting and tactical skill set.
Medieval Immersion
Have you ever wondered what the skill set of a LOTR Ranger or a man of the Night’s Watch from GOT would be? The skill set of a knight and the skill set of a native hunter. This is a world of flint and steel fires, linen, wool, leather and fur. A world of swords, spears, bows and arrows. A world of honour and loyalty, things we seem to have forgotten. Challenge yourself to skills courses and workshops using pre 1400 technology.
Ancestral Age
Flint and obsidian blades. Buckskin, rawhide and fur. Wood and bone. The stone age is the common denominator in the ancestral heritage of all human beings. We are all descendants of prehistoric hunter gatherers. Rediscover the skills and awareness level that all our remote ancestors once shared.
